Our teen volunteers are RAWR-SOME! They make all that we do throughout the summer possible (and more fun). Teen volunteers decorate the library, add humor and life to entertain the wee ones at story times, assist with events and programs, and create an amazing summer atmosphere at the library.

Volunteer schedules are available at the library.

Volunteens pick their own schedules (including which tasks or programs to work), so teens can help as it best fits their calendars and interests. For more information, contact Youth Services Librarian, Jo Brazil, at jbrazil@wpl.org, or call 620-221-4470.

Submit book reviews all summer to collect tiny dinos and help shape WPL’s collection of books, ebooks, and audio books. Extra review forms are available at the front desk.

Watch out for dinosaurs as you explore the adult fiction, nonfiction, graphic novel, and large print shelves this summer. The friendly dinos will feature fun facts and opportunities for bonus prizes.
