Library Cards are Free!
A Winfield Public Library card lets you borrow books/audiobooks/eBooks/board games, use the library computers, reserve a meeting room, and more. However, you don’t need a library card to come in and enjoy a quiet place to study, read one of our newspapers or magazines, make a copy ($.10 per side), send a fax ($1 per page).
A free Kansas State Library Card is necessary in order to receive access to digital materials provided through the State Library of Kansas such as e-books and downloadable audiobooks. You may register for a Kansas Library Card at any public library in Kansas. Call us and we can get you signed up.
FULL ACCESS LIBRARY CARD (IN-PERSON SIGNUP)
Anyone may obtain a free Winfield Public Library card by visiting the Library at 605 College.
In order to receive your permanent library card, please bring photo identification and verification of address to the library. If you are under 14 years of age, your parent or guardian must accompany you to the library to show his or her picture ID and verification of address.
E-ACCESS ONLY (ONLINE SIGN-UP)
Anyone over the age of 14 can register online for an e-access only card which provides access to the Sunflower e-Library e-books and audiobook offerings.
You may expect your library-assigned barcode to be emailed to you. Your e-access card number will work with the Sunflower eLibrary & the Libby App.
