Everyone needs friends and the library is no different!  The Friends of the Winfield Public Library is a nonprofit, volunteer organization with a seven-member board. The Friends have provided continued library support throughout the years. In addition to financial contributions, they have added a needed voice advocating the value of the library to the Winfield community.

Your Friends membership helps to provide library materials and programs that may not be covered by normal budget resources. Through membership fees, book sales, and other fundraising projects the Friends have been able to sponsor Adult & Kids Summer Reading, special exhibits, board game check-out, music concerts, collection development, Grab & Go Craft Kits, building landscaping, and more.

The Friends of the Library would like to welcome you to join the Friends and invite you to the meetings that are held on the second Monday of every month at 7:00pm. It is easy to join – just fill out the online form below; membership dues can be mailed to or dropped off at the library.  A brochure with print registration is available at the front desk.
